JAERMANN Béatrice

Béatrice Jaermann (transverse flute) was principal flute with the Avenches Opera Festival Orchestra for several years, as well as with the Ensemble Vocal et Instrumental de Lausanne conducted by Michel Corboz. She is also co-founder of the Éden flute quartet. Béatrice Jaermann is currently principal flute with the Orchestre de Chambre Fribourgeois, conducted by Laurent Gendre.

She has taught at the École de Musique de Pully for many years.

She studied at the Conservatoire de Lausanne with Marinette Defrancesco and then in Zurich with Günter Rumpel.

With the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, she took part in the recording of the Mass in B, and has also recorded 6 quintets by Boccherini with the Sine Nomine quartet.
