Bruno Luisoni began playing the oboe at Fribourg Conservatoire.
In 2001 he obtained an orchestral diploma with distinction in Louise Pellerin’s class at the Zurich-Winterthur University of Music, before continuing his studies for two years in Munich in an advanced class with François Leleux.
A member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, he was principal English horn with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin between 2004 and 2006.
He is currently principal oboist of the Orchestre de Chambre Fribourgeois and a teacher at Fribourg Conservatoire.
