Iida Nyman, a promising Finnish-American pianist, has performed in New York and Europe. She has participated in the Young Musicians Forum in Schenectady, the Young Performer’s Showcase at Sembrich, and the Piano Cantabile series of the Mannes Sounds Festival at Stiefel Hall in New York.
Iida Nyman has also taken masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists and teachers, including Vladimir Feltsman, Boris Berman, Christopher Hinterhuber, Ewa Pobłocka and Edith Fischer.
She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music degree in piano performance and music theory from Mannes School of Music.
Iida Nyman also studied historical keyboard performance at the Academy of Fortepiano Performance, where she took classes with Audrey Axinn, Maria Rose, and Andrew Willis. Her main piano teachers are Stephanie Brown and Matti Raekallio.
