SCHINDLER Noëmi

Noëmi Schindler, born in Zurich, was noticed by the famous Aïda Stucki, who made her last pupil. This decisive meeting with this extraordinary teacher and violinist was the culmination of her training. After having won numerous prizes in her country, she has had an intense career as a soloist and chamber musician, passionately dedicated to the creation of a new repertoire.

She has performed with various orchestras including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, the Orchestre National de Lille, the Schweizer Kammerorchester, the Bohemian Philharmonic, the Orquesta Simfonica de Neuquén, and the Filarmonica Marea Neagra. Her recordings (Harmonia mundi, Abeille Musique, and NoMad) have received unanimous critical acclaim.

Many contemporary composers have composed for Noëmi Schindler, among the decisive encounters, Bernard Cavanna occupies a privileged place, (Concerto for violin which won the Victoires de la musique in 2000 and the Unesco Prize, Fauve for solo violin, Double Concerto, and 2nd Violin Concerto “Scordatura”.

Since then, she has become concertmaster of the TM+ Ensemble and the Aleph Ensemble, and has had the pleasure of creating many works. This exceptional work does not distance her from the classical repertoire, which she performs with prestigious partners throughout the world. She transmits this experience in her teaching at the Gennevilliers Conservatory, to students from all walks of life.
